In , two priests are sent to investigate a miracle in an Irish home for unwed mothers only to discover that one of the residents is possessed by the devil. A machine that can bring back dead loved ones seems like a great idea—until you unleash the wrong spirits. For collectors like myself, owning the thing is important, but, realizing that others often prefer watching their media online, Mill Creek took the initiative here and packaged these DVD sets with codes for digital versions of the films.
The only major downside to these particular sets is that Mill Creek has changed the packaging cine I last bought a multi-film set of the sort.
These type of sets used to come with each disc housed in its own sleeve and packed snugly into the center of a well-structured cardboard case. The current design finds the ten discs slipped into the back and front of five taller pieces of cardboard with disc-shaped slots cut into either side. These taller cardboard units are then placed into a large cardboard outer case, leaving enough extra room that you could feasibly fit another 10 of these sleeves in the leftover space.

There are two major disadvantages to this setup. Second, these kinds of non-sleeve cardboard slots have a tendency to scratch discs in my experience, and sure enough a couple of my discs were already minorly scuffed after first removal from the slots. I really do hope they veer away from this design on future releases! Storage issues aside, these are strong collections for the incredibly low price point.
Add in the digital component and I frankly see no reason not to have Midnight Movie Madness and Killer Creature Features in your collection! You must be logged in to post a comment.
