Thanks folks! I can hardly wait to get started on Yannis and will remember what both Chutney and Darren have said when deciding whether to go for the others. Maybe I can get the other books from our local library too, but if not will do as you suggest Bonnie and look on Amazon, Ebay too is always another option. Still very hot here in the south-east for the next few days, just the thing for reading a good book and imagining we're still in Elounda - we've also got the sea just down the road too but not as clear or as beautiful as the Gulf of Mirabello!
Let us know what you think eyepye mind you it'll take you a while to read it! I too live by the water way up here on the west coast of Scotland however we have torrential rain so definitely nothing like Mirabello Bay! Still we have our memories eh! Okay Chutney, will do and I'll try to blow some of this sunshine up your way.
We're planning to come back up to Scotland next summer so hoping for good weather then - you guys have certainly had more than your fair share of rain this year. We visited Fort William and the Highlands in February last year, deep snow but lots of sunshine so we were very lucky and absolutely loved it all, especially Mallaig on the west coast.
